The city of Brownsville threat matrix is at Level 4 Severe. County Court at Law No. 4 is located in the Judicial Building in Brownsville. Please be advised that since March 2020 all court hearings for this court have been conducted via remote zoom proceedings. Civil Mental Health Commitments, TROs and divert court remain essential proceedings and we continue to hold court remotely.

The City of Brownsville has released a Threat Matrix to provide a visual status of how the COVID-19 pandemic has affected the city. The goal is to provide residents with recommendations to stay safe and lessen the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
The Brownsville Threat Matrix is compiled by receiving input from local hospitals, city epidemiologists and other city health staff, in conjunction with city Emergency Operations Center, Fire/EMS divisions.
The City has determined that we are currently in red level 4 severe. Any changes to the threat level will be released on Monday. Level 4 signifies a severe and uncontrolled level of COVID-19 in Brownsville. The higher the number the higher the threat is regarding COVID-19. The resident recommendation is to stay home when possible and take action to minimize contact with others.
