On Wednesday, July 10, 2019, Cameron County, in coordination with the American Red Cross, will open a Multi Agency Resource Center (MARC) to serve as a one-stop shop to connect Cameron County flood victims with the appropriate disaster-related community resources.

The MARC will be located at the La Feria Safe Room/Dome, which is locate at 1700 South Main St. (corner of West Dodd Ln.). It will be opened 8 am -7 pm.

In addition, a MARC will be established in Hidalgo and Willacy County. Residents can call American Red Cross for more details about all the locations and services rendered by calling 956-423-0523.

Some of the services that will be offered at no cost include:

• case management,
• mental health, emotional & spiritual care,
• medical assistance,
• gift cards,
• home clean out registration,
• mosquito control prevention supplies and
• other resources will be available

English and Spanish-speaking operators are available to assist as needed.

Additionally, affected residents needing home cleanup assistance may call the TX RGV Flooding Home Cleanup Hotline at 956-465-4127.
