COVID 19 COURT UPDATE #2
EFFECTIVE March 23, 2020.
County Court at Law No. 4 deems that non-essential in-person proceedings may still pose an unnecessary or unreasonable risk to participants, court staff, or the public.
However we understand that in certain circumstances court must continue. In order to not further delay such proceedings our court will be implementing virtual video hearings. For attorneys you may download the free app called Zoom. Our office will roll out further information to attorneys and parties as we prepare dockets for hearings.
This practice will remain in effect until May 8, 2020, in compliance with the Governor’s state of disaster order.
The court will make reasonable accommodations and reschedule appearances and hearings as needed.
