I have taken time to speak to the children before me because I feel they are important and that they must be included in the process. I do not just push them through the system. I remember them, their parents and their special situations. I talk to them and remind them of their accountability and the opportunity for change.
In my legal practice as an Ad Litem in guardianship matters, I have represented people in advanced age whose voices might otherwise be silenced and have tried to represent their best interests.
I would be honored to be the Judge of County Court at Law No.4 so I may continue to work hard, preside over difficult cases and listen to the parties who need an impartial but open ear.
