Loaves and Fishes

On Tuesday April 12 I attended the Loaves and Fishes 10th Annual luncheon and style show fundraiser. This organization provides not only for the homeless in our community, but for people who are food insecure- homes where there is not enough food for a family.

Fill the Shelter fundraiser for Valley Haven

Last night was the Fill the Shelter fundraiser for Valley Haven. This new shelter is for children in the Department of Family & Protective services system (also known as CPS) who need a safe environment. Many children are sent out of the RGV because we didn't have an Emergency children's shelter in the Valley.

I cannot believe how quickly our first term has flown by. It has been an honor to serve you. We as a court have done many things this term, but feel there is more work we can do to serve our community. We ask you to join us and re-elect me so we may continue the work we started.
