On Veteran’s Day it was the second time my daughter & I were able to attend the Veteran’s Day parade at the Marine Military Academy with her Girl Scout Troop.

Last year it was wet and dreary, but this year was a beautiful sunny day. One truly special part of the day was the flag retirement ceremony, which we were all able to participate in- putting to rest pieces of Old Glory.
