Today I was honored to attend Dishman Elementary School as an Ambassador. It is a Blue Ribbon School- first to win this award in HCISD history. The Principal, Irma Davis and the Teacher of the year, Mary Munoz are amazing educators and after seeing their campus and their personal interactions with students and teachers it was evident why they are Number 1. The future looks bright with all that Harlingen Consolidated Independent School District is doing for our youth.
