Great meeting this morning with our Guardianship team, Adult Protective services and Cameron County clerks office.
When there is an open investigation regarding a ward, APS sends our court notice of the investigation. In turn our court investigator does her own investigation and a hearing is held in CCL4 to determine if any further action needs to be taken.
For this new system to be effective it requires a meeting between different agencies. Thank you Melissa Castellano, APS Program Administrator, Anne Cortez, APS South District Director, Lisa Diven Brown, APS Regional Attorney and Cameron County Clerk Program Manager Veronica Deaton for meeting with our team this morning.
